Education
I counsel clients in all aspects of family law litigation, including but not limited to dissolution of marriage, annulments, dissolution of domestic partnerships, child custody, child support, spousal support, attorneys fees, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, dependency, and adoption proceedings.
Through counsel and advocacy, I strive to make an unfamiliar process familiar so that clients navigate the legal system successfully and can start the next chapter of their lives.
As a former teacher, I have unique insight into the educational effects that child custody can have on children. With this knowledge and an understanding of California's custody and visitation laws, I help parents to ensure that their children's best interests really are put first and that custody issues have as minimal an impact as possible on their children.
As a member of the LGBT community, who has counseled many gay and lesbian clients, I have additional insight into the unique legal challenges facing our community, as partners, husbands, wives, and parents.
